I'm so tired all the time
I've spoken to lots of women who are just 'tired' all the time.
There are lots of reasons why this can happen in women transitioning through
their perimenopause and Menopause but lets look at the top 10 reasons.

1, DEHYDRATION
aim to drink 1.2 litres of water a day at least.
2, EXERCISE
Not exercising enough, even 20 minutes of exercise daily will help.
3, OVER-EXERCISING
We all need a rest day, especially if you are doing intense workouts or work
out for more than 40 minutes every day. Muscle glycogen quickly gets
depleted.
4, PROCESSED CARBS.
Avoid refined sugars, processed foods and fast food when you can. These
cause big sugar spikes and then lead to low blood sugars.

5, VITAMIN AND MINERAL DEFICIENCY •
Low Vitamin D, Magnesium, Iron, Zinc or Vitamin Bl 2.
6, ALCOHOL AND CAFFEINE
Both of these dehydrate you and can cause cortisol spikes which can increase stress levels.
7, LACK OF SLEEP
We need at least 8 hours of unbroken sleep a day
8, EMOTIONAL EXHAUSTION.
Stress, anxiety and difficult external factors can all cause emotional
exhaustion.
9, MEDICATION
Beta blockers, SSRl's, statins and blood pressure medications can increase
tiredness.
10, HORMONE DEFICIENCY.
Thyroid disorders, diabetes and adrenal problems can all cause tiredness but low oestrogen, low testosterone and high progesterone can also contribute
